Kenyon Grey is a national recording artist and a CCM/AC, Country, Americana, Southwestern Rock'n'roller, currently airing on The Country Network's Sunday Morning program (Positive Country). As a firefighter turned preacher and music evangelist, Kenyon takes part in the fivefold ministry.
He grew up in his dad's church playing bass, guitar and singing on the worship team. As a local firefighter, Kenyon continued to write and perform music.
He's signed with two record labels and one music production/promotion agency on Music Row in Nashville. He’s worked with several record producers in LA and Nashville, including a Grammy Award winner with Curb Records. His music has received tremendous reviews and write ups.

John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life and that life was the light of all mankind.

Overall Impression:
“When Angels Cry” is a touching and thoughtful New Country song by Kenyon Grey. Emitting a feel-good energy, this tune grooves forward at a moderate tempo creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It reads like a loving message from a father to his young daughter and encapsulates the essence of that unbreakable bond. There are Christian underpinnings that add to the feeling of family, which is present throughout the entire song. Grey sings with an approachable yet commanding presence. It is the perfect voice for a tune like this, and blends in seamlessly with the lyrics. Particular to “When Angels Cry” is its driving and exciting chorus. It is here where the tune seems to take on new life and turns up the energy. With the release of When Angels Cry, Kenyon Grey gives listeners a look into his life and reminds us of the importance of family.
Strongest Point(s):
The message in When Angels Cry is very strong and touching. For those who have ever had to be away from loved ones for a time, it is extremely relatable. The guitar work is also very well done. The solo makes just strong enough of a statement to be memorable and push the tune forward, but does not steal the light. As mentioned above, the chorus has a noticeably different sound than the rest of the tune. It takes on a bit more of a Rock edge and really increases the enthusiasm. This is a very easy and enjoyable listen by Kenyon Grey that shows promise for his work.
Audience Appeal:
Fans of Country and Christian Country will dig Kenyon Grey's new tune When Angels Cry.

Overall Impression:
Both very well written and brilliantly performed, Kenyon Grey's hope infused "Cherish the Lullabies" is an exemplary piece of Americana inspired songwriting that manages to balance its classic rock and country style elements exceptionally well, providing a lively yet thought-provoking tune that you can easily sing along with, tap your foot to, and have a genuinely pleasant time with.
Strongest Point(s):
The high degree of musicianship on display is inspiring, Kenyon and his fellow musicians clearly have a great deal of chemistry between one another and that can certainly be felt throughout the music. With Kenyon's amiable vocal presence coursing through the track, listeners will undoubtedly find themselves strongly connecting with the strong thematic threads that underpin the lyrics, not only does Kenyon subtly touch upon some particularly sensitive and heart-rending subjects, but he does so in a deeply respectful and well-articulated manner that feels both sincere and gentle with regard to approach. The tracks rousing sense of rhythm certainly serves the song well, especially when paired with the lyrics, not only because the liveliness of the song acts as the perfect way to instill a feeling of hope and positivity throughout the music, but that strong feeling of forward momentum ensures each and every melodic hook and well implemented phrase is given the adequate sense of energy needed in order to successfully keep audiences fully invested in the tracks many inspired ideas.

I can certainly see this strongly appealing to the country & Americana lovers.
